Der Dunkelnebel B78 bildet den \u201ePfeifenkopf\u201c, B65,B66,B67 und B59 bilden den Pfeifenstiel. Von Antares, rechts oben zieht sich ein dunkles Band nach links unten in die Milchstar\u00dfe. \u00dcber den Pfeifenkopf, rechts von B261, schlingelt sich der Schlangennebel.
