Sie befinden sich in rund 150 Lichtjahren Entfernung. Sehr prominent im Bild, aber nicht Teil der Hyaden, ist Aldebaran, der helle orange-rote Stern etwas rechts unterhalb der Mitte mit knapp 70 Lichtjahren Abstand. Der &#8222;gr\u00fcne Komet&#8220; C\/2022 E3 n\u00e4herte sich in der Nacht vom 12.
