NGC 5128 Centaurus A

NGC 5128, auch Centaurus-A genannt, ist eine Galaxie im Sternbild Centaurus.
Die Galaxie mit einer Entfernung von 10-17 Millionen Lichtjahren ist eine der hellsten Radioquellen am Himmel. Ihr charakteristisches Merkmal ist das deutlich sichtbare Staubband, das die Galaxie durchquert.
